- The Perfect Gold Bands -
Back in 1981 when my husband asked me to marry him, we called Charlie Alpert to let him know that we wanted to buy our wedding rings from Rummele's.
The store, which was above the bank, was not open on Saturdays but since we were only in Green Bay for the weekend Charlie picked us up in his Cadillac and drove us to the store.
He opened just for us and proceeded to treat us like the most important customers that ever walked in. We found the perfect gold bands that cost no more than $100.
Charlie then opened a bottle of champagne and toasted us for a long and happy marriage. Almost 29 years later, we are still loyal customers of Rummele's.
We continue to receive the same great service from his daughter Tracy.
