We are middle school sweethearts! We met when I was 12 and Ryan was 13 at a school carnival, we remained friends for awhile and on his 15th birthday he asked me to be his girlfriend and we have been together ever since. We just celebrated 10 years together!
Every year Ryan and our other guy friends go on a boys trip, I was told that the trip was that weekend and he would be gone so I made plans with my girlfriends to go to Door County for the day. My friends and I went to wineries/dinner and then were planning on going back to Green Bay to meet up with another friend that we had to pick up from her cottage in Dyckesville. When we got to her house, my friends told me she was around back on the beach so we all walked around the house and I stopped and saw someone set up for a proposal. I didn’t realize until a few seconds later that it was for me. It was the most perfect intimate moment on the beach at sunset! Ryan surprised me with all our friends and family afterwards to celebrate.
