We are high school sweethearts! We originally met in when we were 16 years old in our sophomore year speech class (2013). We got to know each other over the course of the year and started dating our junior year. Have been together ever since! Throughout dating the last 10 years, we’ve lived in 4 different states and spent around 4 years in a long-distance relationship during college However, we always managed to prioritize and make time for each other – love always wins! We’ve now lived in Manhattan together for 3 years
Jack proposed to Jill on a beach called Porto Mós Beach in Lagos, Portugal on September 19th, 2025. He had hired a professional photographer who was sitting on the beach by the cliffs pretending to act as a tourist. Jack planned to walk past him and align in front of one of the cliff facades. Here, Jack reminisced on their relationship and told Jill how much he loved her and that he had a little surprise… the surprise of course was Jack getting down on one knee and proposing
Jill noted certain features of her dream ring prior to the proposal that came to life with the assistance of Chloe Apert. The key features of the ring include a beautiful elongated cushion cut diamond, with half pave on each side of the diamond. The ring is 18K gold with white gold claw prongs and setting. The diamond has a low setting with a small support band to allow as much light as possible into the diamond. It sparkles even in the dark 😊
