We met when a mutual friend –Thor’s high school friend and Grace’s college friend—invited us both to his lake house for a summer weekend. We never left each other’s side the whole trip, and he rest is history!

Thor proposed on October 13, 2023, in the exact same place we got married a year and a half later – in Door County, Wisconsin at Grace’s grandparents’ family cottage, overlooking the lake, and surrounded by friends and family.
Thor picked out a stunning radiant cut diamond centered between two tapered baguette diamonds, on a custom platinum Simon G. setting, which he designed himself! For Thor’s ring, we picked out a yellow gold band with a hammer finish and a black inlay on each side.
