We had planned to go to San Luis Obispo, California for the 4th of July weekend. I went to college in SLO and it is a special spot for us because it is where Justin asked me to be his girlfriend. Justin planned the day with everything we did on our first official date as girlfriend and boyfriend. We went on a hike, ate tasty BBQ for lunch, had an amazing dinner, and ended the night visiting a fun dive bar. When we arrived back at our hotel, he had worked with the concierge to coordinate the most beautiful set up. There were rose petals, candles and incredible flowers everywhere. He got down on one knee and popped the question! San Luis Obispo will forever be special to us. 
The ring is incredibly gorgeous; I have never seen anything like it. Justin and I worked together to design it because he was too nervous to pick something that I wouldn’t love. It is everything I ever hoped for and more! My dad also grew up close to Green Bay, Wisconsin and I am a huge Packers fan, so it was so special that he worked with Rummele’s to design the ring.
